KENTUCKY (AP) The Kentucky Wildcats will host Stanford on Aug. 26, 2019, for the first time in the school’s 75-year history.
The Wildcats defeated Kentucky in their previous game, a 79-67 victory in the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
They will be without star freshman point guard Brandon Ingram, who is recovering from a season-ending injury.
The Kentucky coaches also hope that junior point guard Jordan Hulls, who was an All-American at UCLA, can step up after leading the Bruins to a national title in 2018.
The last time the Wildcats hosted Stanford was the 2002-03 season.
The program is now 19-17 in Pac-12 play and 15-11 overall.
