Dixie state University will begin accepting a $1,000 bounty for anyone who completes the university’s online degrees program.
The first step in the effort is to recruit a total of 15,000 people, with the rest of the students receiving scholarships.
The university is seeking applicants from across the country who will be able to apply by February 15.
Dixie will provide an application form at the university and on its website.
The university said it is also offering a $50 cash scholarship for students who are unable to attend a full-time school.
The initial applications will be accepted through February 19.
Dixie State is one of several private colleges in the United States that offer online education.
Other major institutions include Brown University, Penn State University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
